Lauretta holds a degree in Mechanical engineering from University of Rome Tor Vergata (1996), a Master of Applied Science in Mech. and Environmental engineering from University of Toronto (1999) and a Ph.D. in Mechanical engineering from Imperial College London (2003).She has over 20 years’ work experience in the field of aftertreatment systems,R&D, Project Management, ultrafine particle emissions measurements and filtration, PEMS and emissions legislation. She worked as Research Assistant at University of Toronto and Imperial College, as Development Engineer at Johnson Matthey, UK (2003-2005) as Scientific officer at European Commission JRC (2005-2008) as Corporate Scientist at Sensors (2009-2011) as System Engineer at Corning, as Lead Technical Expert Aftertreatment Systems (2013-2017) at GM & PSA Group (2017-2021)and Senior System Engineer at STELLANTIS (2021-2022).Several years of experience as external expert for the EU commission and proposal evaluator (HORIZON2020) as well as Mentor for EIT Mobility and start-ups in innovation and sustainability. From Sept. 2022she is CEO of the VERT Association based in Switzerland. She is also founder and CEO of “LR Consulting”,environmental consulting solutions for a sustainable future.
