Dr. Imane Belyamani is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Sciences and Sustainability at Zayed University, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. She holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry and Materials Science from Jean Monnet University, France, and brings an interdisciplinary background to research at the intersection of polymer science, sustainability, and environmental innovation. Her work focuses on developing and evaluating sustainable polymer systems, with particular emphasis on biodegradable materials, recycling technologies, and strategies for reducing the environmental impact of plastic waste. She is especially interested in solutions that support circular economy principles, resource efficiency, and the transition toward more sustainable materials. Through her research and academic work, Dr. Belyamani contributes to ongoing efforts to address plastic pollution, promote responsible material use, and advance sustainability-driven innovation in materials science.
