Dr. Subhasis Das is a researcher in catalysis and nanomaterials with expertise in designing advanced catalytic systems for sustainable chemical processes. He completed his B.Sc. from University of Kalyani, India, and qualified CSIR-NET (JRF) in Chemical Sciences in 2012. His research focuses on nanomaterial design, C1 chemistry, syngas generation, catalyst structure–activity relationships, and waste-to-chemicals technologies. Dr. Das has received several prestigious recognitions, including the Merit Cum Means Scholarship from the Government of West Bengal, the RUB Postdoctoral Fellowship at Ruhr University Bochum, Germany, the Dr. D. S. Kothari Postdoctoral Fellowship from the Government of India, and the MSCA Seal of Excellence from the European Commission in 2026. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in leading journals such as Journal of Catalysis, Catalysis Science & Technology, ACS Applied Nano Materials, and Fuel, and holds several patents related to catalytic processes. His work primarily aims at developing efficient catalysts for CO₂ utilization, methane reforming, and sustainable fuel and chemical production.
