Dr. Jie Wang is a professor at Beijing Institute of Nanoenergy and Nanosystems (BINN), Chinese Academy of Sciences. He received double Bachelor degrees in Polymer Materials and Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, Master degree in Microelectronics and Solid State Electronics and PhD degree in Electronics Science and Technology from Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2000, 2003, and 2008. He worked in Xi’an Jiaotong University from 2003 to 2016, then worked in BINN as a professor. Hehasauthored over 200 peer reviewed journal articles, and held over 30 patents. He was awarded New Century Excellent Talents in University and first Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of MOE of PR China. His current research interests focus on triboelectric nanogenerators, mechanical energy harvesting,and self-powered system.
